Islamabad: President Centre for Pakistan and Gulf Studies (CPGS), Senator Sehar Kamran (TI) wrote a letter to the Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) H.E. Iyad Bin Amin Madaniaddressing to take notice of the atrocious Indian brutalities against the Kashmiris and demanded that OIC Secretary General take notice of the extra-judicial killings of Kashmiris at the hands of the Indian forces. In her letter. She said the OIC being the collective voice of the Muslim Ummah has a greater role to play and the time has come to address this issue once for all.
Senator Kamran also called upon the International Human Rights Organisations to take immediate notice of severe violation of human rights in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. She said we need to stand united and ensure to end these atrocities against Kashmiri Muslims. It is only possible if the UNSC resolutions on the Kashmir dispute are implemented in its true letter and spirit and the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir get their right of Self-Determination through a fair and free plebiscite under UN supervision, she added.
Senator Sehar Kamran said the voice of the people of Kashmir cannot be suppressed though inhuman acts and violent tactics employed by the Indian State.
