On the occasion of 140th Quaid day, President Centre for Pakistan and Gulf Studies (CPGS), Senator Sehar Kamran (TI) paid a rich tribute to the father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She said it was due to Quaid’s outstanding character, exemplary courage, dedication and statesmanship that Muslims of the Subcontinent were able to achieve an independent country.
Senator Kamran said Quaid-e-Azam materialized the dream of Iqbal and made it possible for us to live as free citizens of an independent, sovereign country. She said, today, Pakistan is facing several challenges on various fronts but if we follow Quaid’s footsteps and don’t give up in face of the difficulties, we will be able to over-come the hurdles.
Senator Sehar Kamran said, on this day, I urge the people of Pakistan to work whole-heartedly and with fervor for the betterment of our country according the principles laid down by our beloved Quaid.
