Islamabad, 18th April, 2018: Former Convener of the Saudi-Pak Parliamentary Friendship Group Sehar Kamran (TI) has lauded the successful completion of the Joint Gulf Shield-1 Military Exercise organized by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense with participants from the land, air and naval forces of 24 countries, under the patronage of the Saudi King His Royal Highness Salman bin Abdul Aziz. She said this exercise will help the participating forces to confront threats and challenges to regional peace and stability.
Senator Kamran further stated that these military drills will further help in solidifying trust and military cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as the two countries share the same goal of establishing peace in the region. She commended the Saudi authorities, the Crown Prince HRH Muhammed Bin Salman and the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques HRH King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for taking such a timely initiative.
