Islamabad, August 20, 2024: Sehar Kamran (T.I), a Member National Assembly of Pakistan and the Patron in Chief of the Centre for Pakistan and Gulf Studies (CPGS) Congratulates the Nation on the Successful Training Launch of the Shaheen-II Surface-to- Surface Ballistic Missile.
Sehar Kamran ( T.I), a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan and the Patron in Chief of the Centre for Pakistan and Gulf Studies (CPGS) has congratulated the military and political leadership, scientists, engineers, and the people of Pakistan on the successful training launch of the Shaheen-II ballistic missile system.
Shahheen-II is a surface-to-surface ballistic missile. The test launch was aimed at validating various design and technical parameters and performance evaluation of different sub-systems incorporated for improved accuracy and enhanced survivability.
Sehar Kamran said nuclear deterrence was the vision of Quaid-e-Awam, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, as he laid the foundation of Pakistan’s nuclear program. “I congratulate our civil and military leadership on this landmark event.”
She further stated that “the nation is firmly standing behind the armed forces of Pakistan.”
Today’s test is, “another milestone of historic significance and another step in strengthening Pakistan’s deterrence capability, Sehar Kamran stated.
